Is the course for me?

Agile team

This course is targeted at those working as or with Project Managers. Perhaps you are working as a Project Manager, Team Leader, or as an operational Business Product Owner. It’s not just for these kind of roles though.

If you are a senior executive in the organisation, who may take on roles such as Business Sponsor or be the driving force behind the vision for a development this course will enable you to understand your role as well as the importance of working in an empowered environment with an agile mindset. It will help you understand why your project scope is variable, making it easier for you when dealing with your stakeholders. As a senior executive you may prefer to book onto the first part of this course (taking only 2 days), to cover the foundation level.

Equally, if you are a member of the solution development team, this course can help you appreciate how your developments support the vision of the business. This can also support your future career development if you aim to work in a team leader or project management role in the future.

You might even be a business stakeholder, who’s interested in learning more about agile. As with the senior executives, if this is you, then perhaps booking only the first part of the course is for you.

What kind of Projects use DSDM’s AgilePM®

The AgilePM® approach was developed by the DSDM consortium, refined and expanded to provide support from projects and programmes from small to highly complex environments. It is also highly applicable to projects being run in all sectors – from IT and technology to Biomass Power to Process Redesign. Whatever your business, there are techniques that will be relevant to you.

Bede booked an in-house AgilePM foundation level course with IT-Howzat, to enable us to train a range of staff including those in Project and Product Management roles.
Overall the staff gave very positive feedback regarding the training.
Course attendees highlighted that the practical assessments were most helpful as they helped bring the training to life. They also stated that they learned about new concepts that they found very relevant to their work.
The course was run over 2 days and had a 100% pass rate on the exams.
Thanks again for making the training and exam an enjoyable and rewarding experience for the candidates.
