| Real-Time WalkingWorld Statistics | ||
|---|---|---|
This section of the website was developed as part of an MSc project. The aim of the dissertation was to utilise current visualisation techniques to provide users with current information about the walkingworld walks. To enable compairson of understating the same statistics are available in a number of visual formats. | ||
The site makes use of a graphics technique called SVG - Scalable Vector Graphics. This technique requires the installtion of a plug-in for your web-browser. If you already have the viewer you will be able to see a footprint next to this text. |
||
If you do no not have this installed then please download it from the Adobe website. |

The data shown by this website is dynamically extracted from the main walkingworld server - when new walks are added to the website they will be automatically picked up by the statistics on this site. | ||
In the same manner all other statisitcs are extracting the from the walkingworld server. | ||
|   | To continue to the main Walkingworld statistics page follow this link Walkingworld statistics where you will be introduced to the different visual techniques which can be used to view the statistics. | |

This site has been designed to work with the Adobe SVG plug-in, so unfortunately will not provide full functionality with the the Coral SVG viewer. Also, at this point in time the interaction required between all the files is not supported by the Firefox or Mozilla browsers, so please use Internet Explorer to continue. | ||
